Life at the Academy

My name is Krista.  I’m a homeschooling mom of 2 – Doodles who is 13 and Buster who is 10.  We try to follow The Well-Trained Mind as much as makes sense for us.  I post as Krista in LA on the WTM message boards.  The kids and I all have first degree black belts in tae kwon do.  My dear husband, Boxman, works from home most of the time, so we all spend a lot of time together, for better or worse!  We have lived in Louisiana for 10 years but haven’t given up our northern roots – I was born in Iowa and also lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Iowa again, and Illinois while Boxman was born and raised in Illinois.  We met when we were both at Iowa State.  Go Cyclones!
